Money '06 won't update "reports"

My checking account info updates ok but the account is not listed as one of
the accounts to "feed" into the reports or budget. How do I add the account?
I have spent hours on the budget, then on trying to figure out why my
actualy balances on the current monthly report are not correct.
PLEASE HELP!!!! But, I need instructions that I can understand......

Sorry, this newsgroup is devoted to Microsoft Access databases. You would do
much better to ask your question in one of the many groups devoted to
MS-Money.
