Modifying the colors in the highlighting palette in word

Is there a way to add differnt colors to the highlighting palette in Word?
There is an obvious omission of orange as an option and I'd like to add it.

The selection of Highlight colors cannot be changed, but you can use text
shading (Format | Borders and Shading: Apply to: Text). If you have Word
2002 or later (I think), you can save this formatting as a character style.
