Modify excel office online template

I downloaded an invoice template and one column is too narrow for the numbers
I have to write in.
I am an experienced user but could not find a way to chage the width of this
column.
Pls help
 
Select the column, right-click/ Column Width
or
Select the column, then Format/ Column/ Width
or
Mouse over the right hand edge of the column header, & double-click
or
Select the column, and Format/ Cells/ Font, and make it smaller
or
Select the column, right-click/ Format Cells/ Font, and make it smaller
or ...
 
These is several ways to adjust the column width. Type in "column width" in
the help to read about them.
 
Some of the templates have sheet protection enabled.

Remove the protection which is not password prtected.
