Modify/Change start up menu user name

Want to change my name as it appears on top of the start
menu. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Steve
Go to Start, Control Panel, User Accounts, Select the User account you want
to change. Select "Change my Name"

-->Computer Name tab
--->Change button
Make desired changes.

This does not change the name on the top of the start
menu.

Does not exactly go like that, I using XP Pro, if it
helps. From user accounts I get a list. Nothing matches
what comes up on the start menu.
