modify Autofill in e-mail address

Hi,

I have a contacts database of names and e-mail addresses. When the user
clicks the To button and starts typing in a name, the name gets filled in and
underlined. If you were to double click the underlined name, the e-mail
address appears. There are people in my list who have changed their e-mail
address. I ended up deleting the old contact information and adding a new
contact for them which contains their new e-mail address. The problem is
that when I click on the To button and start filling out their name, their
name does appear and is underlined. But when I double click the name, the
old and now invalid e-mail address appears. So the autofill doesn't really
work well for me because of this. It would be nice if when I type in a name,
only the new updated e-mail address appears. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Chuck

You provided no relevant information.
No one could tell from your post whether you are using autoresolution or
autocompletion. "Autofill" has no meaning.
If you don't know the difference, then provide your Outlook version and a
more accurate description of how you are entering the addresses so we can
figure it out for you.
