MODEM NOT DETECTED

I HAVE TOSHIBA LAPTOP
TOSHIBA SOFTWARE MODEM
I UPGRADED TO WINDOWS XP PRO FROM HOME
NOW ITS NOT DETECTING MY MODEM FOR DIAL-UP CONNECTION
CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH THIS PLEASE?

Have you tried just removing the modem drivers from the device manager and
rebooting...?
