The H and V numbers are horizontal and vertical settings for your
monitor. Because "it says mode not supported" is ambiguous (what says
mode not supported? A Windows error? An error message from the game?) I
can't tell you whether the issue is that you are trying to run the
mystery game at a resolution it doesn't support or whether it is your
monitor that doesn't support the resolution you have set in the game.
Run the resolution in the game at something that your video card and
monitor will support.

Go back to the game's website and check its system requirements. Make
sure your computer meets/exceeds those.

Duplicate files where?

Try to play First ? with your Display Mode, i think this which the message
mean?.
Read the perquisite of this Game, either on the vendor site or with help
file on it.
What you Video display settings set to?, what your resolution and color
quality.
You may need to go to the setting on the BIOS to adjust if you want to play
that Game.
HTH.

And does your computer meet or exceed those very low requirements? You
just aren't giving enough information to get focused help. My crystal
ball is in the shop and I'm not going to spend my time guessing.

Contact the game mftr.'s tech support for help or have a knowledgeable
friend or professional help you.

EOT for me.

Well, one can find duplicate files with a number of free programs. But
be careful, as many programs want the same exactl .dll in their own
folder, even if you have the same in a windows folder.

Duplicate files of what? Do a Google search for duplicate file finders.
There are plenty of tools available but be careful on removing what appear
to be duplicates.

The Monitor mode specified by the game is not supported by your monitor.
That's all that we can say. It isn't a Windows XP issue. It's a game
issue.
