mm2.0 turns off when I start it

Whenever I start Movie Maker 2.0, it stops and gives me
this error report.

Error Signature

AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer: 2.0.3312.0 ModName:
comctl32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.2180 Offset: 0004e183

Please help.

Hello ,

Comctl32 is a set of the common controlls found in windows. Each version of
windows has its own uniqu comctrl32.dll and you can NOT mix them....

So, what version of Windows are you using?

The version of comctl32 that you should have is 5.82.2900.2180 if you have XP
SP2 installed.
