Mixing Audio with Music on Audio/track

I have a video/audio clip (I muted the audio) that I want to put audio from another video/audio clip and I want to hear the music track under it. How can I mix the audio on the Audio/Track? Do I have to make an audio only clip of the audio I want to use with the silent Video clip and put it on the audio track?

It depends on the project.... you can overlap audio/music clips and they
don't fade from one to another as video clips do..... and the overlap can be
the full length of the clip on the left (all but that one last frame).

If that's not convenient, you'll need to make the movie in two passes, with
one audio track the first time and the other one in the second pass.
