Mixed up license keys

I've got two XP boxes (one mine, one my parents) but have the media and
keys mixed up -- ie I don't know which license key was used for which
installation.

Two questions:

1) when one of the boxes toasts is this going to be a problem? ie are MS
going to have my parents thrown in Guantanamo Bay for being terrorists
if they phone up MS tech support and give the "wrong" license key.

2) how do I find out which key was used on a given install?

You should be able to use Belarc Advisor from
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html to find the Product Key used
for each installation.
