Missing Toolbar & menu

Hi There,
I am running Office 2000 under Windows NT. Today when I
opened Word the blank document appears to be in sort of
a 'full screen mode'. A ruler appears at the top, but
absolutely no menus or toolbars. Scrollbars are there. I
can press pf1 to get help. Any suggestions?

In Word 2000, after customizing my "Full Screen" mode toolbar I have
consistently lost it in several installations. I now create a custom toolbar
for Full Screen mode, which opens and closes when it should, and maintains
docking position from previous use (even after shutdown). Ironically, in Word
2003 the FS toolbar doesn't disappear (and I can't force it to), but forgets
where I docked it and defaults to floating in my way when run.
