missing toolbar in excel when switching desktop manager

im using windows XP prof, ms office xp w/ SP 3 and Virtual Desktop Manager of
PowerToys for Windows XP(shared desktops not enable) .

open excel and switch to another virtual desktop. when i switch/return to
the desktop, no menu and toolbar are shown in the worksheet only minimize,
maximize and close.

need help on how to return the menus and toolbar

The answer is not to use the Virtual Desktop Manager, sadly. I pointed out
this problem when the DM was first beta tested and nothing was done about
it

There is one known workaround:
minimize Excel, switch to another desktop, switch back, restore Excel.

I would suggest considering competition products:
