Several years ago I stretched my quicklaunch bar vertically and aligned it
so that the top row is still the quicklaunch and the bottom row displays the
running tasks. The system tray displays double height on the far right. This
gives me room for many more icons on the quicklaunch bar without competing
for space with the taskbar.
A few months ago my taskbar disappeared and I have been unable to get it to
display again. I have searched newsgroups and the MS knowledge base and have
not been able to find any solution. The only way I can switch between
running tasks is to use the Alt-Tab key combination. In fact, that is the
only way I can tell if there are any minimized applications running. And the
displayed application doesn't show up either.
This Alt-Tab is really getting old; can anyone help me get the taskbar back
please?
My nickname is "mole chaser".
Thanks!
