Hi - Since deleting a nasty virus and a key entry frommy
registry - i have booted up and noticed the main start
button icon is missing and also when i get an error
message of any kind such as when i try to close a file and
get the prompt 'to save or not' the icon is missing
fromthat dialogue box....

anyone have any idea how i can restore them?
Perhaps i deleted them as they were infected with the
virus?

i'm stumped :(
any help appreciated :)

In my opinion, you have got to copy an "explorer.exe" from another
computer whose OS is the same as you. (perhaps the"Shell32.dll" is needed)
Because major systematic icons are in the "explorer.exe"
