Hi
I own a DELL es100 with windows xp. I can no longer see
the Start button. When the comuter boots up, it comes up
with a blue screen. Even after logging on to my user
account, I cannot access my applications. I can only
access my applications after starting it as a task using
task manager.

Thank you for answering.

Hi,

Open the Task Manager (Cntrl/Alt/Delete) and end process on Explorer.exe.
Leave the Task Manager open. When the desktop refreshes, go to File/New
Task (Run) and type in explorer.exe.

If that doesn't restore the Taskbar and Start button:

Repair/Customize Quick Launch, Taskbar and Notification Area
