Missing Shortcut to View Workgroup Computers in Network Tasks

I have a broadband connection that I share between 2 computers. File sharing
and printing are enabled and I can share and see the folders on either
computer. When I go to My Network Places it shows the shared folders, but on
the Network Task Pane the "View Workgroup Computers" shortcut is missing.
Any suggestions on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated.
 
Goto start, control panel, admin tools, services and scroll down to Computer
Browser, make sure it is turned on.
