Missing references?

Hi,

I am trying to run an Access 2003 mdb on another machine, but am getting
errors with common VBA functions like Right() and Date() etc... Other mdb
programs work fine on the new pc so I assume it is to do with references
within the new file.

Checking references seem OK, but I can't uncheck VBA for Applications
reference (To re-check it again) as I get an error the reference is required.

With no references noted as missing, I'm not sure where to go next.

Help appreciated.

Try adding a new reference (pick one at random), close the dialog, then go
back in and remove the reference you just added. That's sometimes enough to
fix the References collection.

Thanks - it fixed it no worries.

One further question though, if this were an mde application being installed
automatically, how would a situation like this be handled?

Realistically, it can't be fixed.

You have to ensure that the same versions of the referenced libraries are in
the same locations on each machine. I discuss this a little at
