Property for the form's record selector is set to "YES" and the record
selector is still missing - why?

thanks in advance
Linda

Just to be sure, because some people get confused on this issue; you are
talking about the Record Selector, not the Navigation Buttons?

Yes, positive. We are talking about record selector (in the left side of
the form). But now it seems not to be the only problem. After a few changes
in the form's layout, one of the text fields (calculating) has disappeared.
Well not exactly disappeared - it's not visible. When it gets focus, you
can see it and it works like intend, but when loss focus the field
disappear again… weird (I can add, that there's not en issue of <send
back or forward> I check it already)

Hi LInda,
At this point I think I'd try a /decompile.

Hi Linda:

A bit of a long shot here... I don't know about the record selector, but are
you using "Windows Themed Controls On Forms"? (It's a setting available
under Options>Forms.). I had a problem just like you describe (with controls
disappearing except when they had the focus) and themed controls were the
problem. Experiment with turning them off..
