Missing *.pst file, how do I replace it?

I have been having troubles with my outlook. I was constantly getting this
error every time I started up Outlook “c:\documents and
setting\danielle\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst not foundâ€
I did a search and as it turns out I am missing the *.pst file. So at least
I know the problem what I don’t know however is how can I get this file back
and if it is completely gone from my computer which it looks like it is how
do I fix this problem?

Restore from backup or create a new one through Control Panel-> Mail

Hmm. Just see whether a new profile fixes this issue
Be sure to make the new profile default.

Also while searching, did you enable searching hidden files and folders?
