missing program file

when I run a scan with my system works pro 2003 it tells me in program
integrity scan that I have a missing file. it says,
C:\WINDOWS\System32\MAPISR.EXE" cannot access a necessary file,
"gapi32.dll." how do I fix this.

Get out your XP CD and keep it handy. Then run the System File Check tool.
To do that:
A. Start/Run/type "cmd" less quotes and click OK.
B. In the Command Prompt window, type "sfc /scannow" less quotes and press
the keyboard Enter key.
C. Let the tool run. Any necessary Windows Operating System Files that it
finds to be missing or corrupted will be restored/repaired utilizing your XP
CD.
