Missing Power Icon

I am running XP Pro SP2. I am unable to get my power icon to display in the
taskbar. I have checked and unchecked the appropriate settings and still will
not display whether I am on battery or power. Using Dell Inspiron 9300. Any
suggestions.

Log off and Log back on.

Visit the laptop manufacture's web site, install the power management
tool which is designed for the Windows XP.

Thanks. I have fixed the problem by hiding UPnP in Network Places.
