missing partition on usb drive

Hello. Apologies if this is the wrong place, but I'm desperate.

I turned on my USB drive (Maxtor onetouch 200gb) today and one of the
two partitions was missing. I have it split roughly 50/50 with both
partitions formatted in fat32 (so I can also use with mac). One
partition works fine, and I can access all the data etc. But the second
partition just shows up as
"Local Disk" instead of the name I assigned it. I can open it in
explorer but there's nothing there. It still shows 80 gb used so I'm
hopeful the data is still in there somewhere? This partition houses my
photos, documents, videos and music, so I might die if I can't recover
everything.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what I can do to recover the data? I can't
really afford to bring it to some service.

Thanks so much in advance!!! I really appreciate the help!!

Go to Disk Management on your Windows PC, (right click on the My Computer
icon, then select the Manage option, then in the Computer Management window
select Disk Management). Does it really show two FAT32 partitions of 80GB
each for your USB drive?

FAT32 by default is limited to a max partition size of 32GB.

Yes, it does. I think Fat32 is limited to 32GB only if you use xp to
create the partition? I partitioned the drive using Partition Magic.
Anybody have any other suggestions? Please and thank you?
