I recieved this message at start up. Please help me fix it

Windows could not start because the following file is
missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system

To get into the Recovery Console, please select the Option Recovery Console
after booting with an XP Installation CD. You can also boot into Recovery
Console using the Startup Disks for Windows XP. To create Windows XP
bootable disk visit the following URL :

http://download.microsoft.com/download/WinXPHome/Install/310994/WIN98MeXP/EN-US/WinXP_EN_HOM_BF.EXE
