missing messages after update to 2007

Since I updated from Outlook 2003 to 2007, I have received practically no
mail and do not know where to find whatever mail has been filtered out. I
have received a few personal messages but not 2 newsletters I subscribe to
daily. A third was suppressed and I was informed of it, but the others are
simply gone.
 
Check to make sure your view isn't filtered, and check your Junk folder, and
also check to make sure any rules you've created are working properly.
