Missing Menu item - AutoFilter.

Excel 2003: The drop-down Menu item of 'AutoFilter' accessed through 'Data /
Filter' has recently disappeared.

This is not worksheet-specific - it is missing for both existing and new
workbooks.

I have access to another installation of Excel 2003 on my PC, through a
terminal server, and that is working perfectly OK.

Anyone any ideas?

I'd try:

Tools|Customize|Toolbars tab
select the Worksheet Menu Bar
And click the Reset button

You'll have to recreate any customized changes you've made to that toolbar,
though.
