What started out as a small "rules & alerts" issue in Outlook has become a
"Missing Media problem. I just deleted all the rules and I'll start fresh.
I can't uninstall file K-whatever the heck it was, but that's a moot point
right now.

I ran the diagnostics to see why things don't see to be running correctly.
The error message is "Missing Media" I promptly put in my disk from my 2007
Outlook Pro and.... setup just bounced me out with an error message buried in
"Doc\myname\local\temp\setupexe\##########.log".

I'm a reasonable person. I bought the software online. It's a licensed
copy. Where do I get a new disk? How do I get out of this hole?

Hello,

For a new disk you have no choice but to contact microsoft and deal with the
song and dance you get put thru.

But you can reapir Office/ Outlook very easy without the disk. To repair all
you do is goto add remove programs and hit the change button when i find
office or outlook. Then choose the repair option it will download all the
missing or corrupt files from microsoft if you are truly registered.

Hope this helps as i am no expert.

Not true. When you buy it on-line you'll download a complete installer which
you can use for a reinstall. Never will the installer itself download
missing or replacements for components directly from Microsoft.
