missing mail contacts

I downloaded live mail since the mail program in vista did not meet my needs.
Everything worked fine yesterday. Last night, an auto-update for Vista was
done. This morning, all of my mail contacts are gone. Any ideas what
happened and how to restore them?

Please ask in the newsgroup for Live Mail, this group is for Windows Mail
(the one that did not meet your needs).

Did you try importing them again from WM, File Menu>import

I wasn't able to find where to ask the question from the live mail crew - the
website is all different, and I couldn't find anyplace to ask my question.
Can you point me in the right direcion?

Also, as to your suggestion to reimport them....
I never used windows mail more than a couple of days - I imported all my
contacts from Outlook Express on my old computer directly to Live Mail last
summer. But the old computer and it's old files are long gone. Are you
saying there's someplace on my new computer where they might be stored so I
could re-import them?
