Hi all,

I have noticed that when I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del in Windows XP, it shows Task
Manager instead of showing Logon Information box.

The Logon Information box appears only after I domain the workstation to
domain from workgroup.

Is there a way to show the Logon Information box in Workgroup?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Cheers,
Oscar

Give three fingle salute i.e.

CNTRL-ALT-DEL
CNTRL-ALT-DEL

But you have to do this when you are in WELCOME screen.

Hi,

the reason why I need to see the Logon Information page is I need to change
domain user's password.

In Windows 2000, when you click on Change Password in the Logon
Information, you are able to change a domain user's password by specify the
domain name\username. This can be done when you are in Workgroup.

In Windows XP, I have joined the domain inorder to see the Logon Information.

I'm wondering if there's any settings or registry to be change inorder to
show the Logon Information?

Due to some reasons, I was told not to join this particular workstation to
my domain.

Cheers,
Oscar
