Missing lines in file explorer (tree view)

O

Orzech

Hi,
I have a problem with finding a way to enable visibility
of lines in the explorer folder view. In the previous
versions of Windows, the tree structure (parent->child)
was connected with kind of dash lines that easy the
readability of the whole structure (see the below
drawing). For same reason I cannot find this in XP.

It was (in win 2000):
|---Folder1
| |
| |---Folder2
| |
| |---file1
| |---file2
| |---file3

It is (XP):

Folder1
Folder2
file1
file2
file3

Does anyone know how to enable the lines???

Regards,
Orzech

Control Panel - Folder Options - View and uncheck 'Display simple folder
view in Explorer. . . .'
