Missing INF file

PC crashed
Running Windows XP Home Edition
Have fixed the crash but have a problem that I did not have before
Trying to put a HP J3680 Office Jet Multi Function printer working but get
an error saying INF file missing
Any help would be appreciated

Did you try unistalling that printer and then reinstalling it again?
What .inf file is missing? The one that is used to install the printer?

Reinstall the printer software .
