Missing IE6.0 explorer address bar

Yes you've guessed it. Another Microsoft gremlin. or
virus. There is no address bar on my IE 6.0. When you
click "view" then "toolbars" then address bar, it only
displays the word address in the far right, there is no
place to type a website address anymore.? Hum... any
suggestions?? thanks for your help.
