In Word, it depends on how the fonts were applied to the text, whether
through a style or directly.
Select some text and press Shift+F1 to open the Reveal Formatting task
pane. Check the box at the bottom for "Distinguish style source".
If the font name appears under the "From Paragraph Style" heading,
then the font is named in the definition of the style named there. If
instead the font name appears under "Direct Formatting", the font was
applied from the toolbar or from the Format > Font dialog to override
the style definition.
If the font comes from the style, use File > Styles > select the
style's name > click Modify and change to the font you want.
If the font was applied directly, you can select the text and press
Ctrl+spacebar to remove the added formatting and return to the
definition in the style for that paragraph.
