Can someone help me please?? I accessed a folder this morning and now that
folder is missing. I didn't delete the folder or move it. If I do a search
for some of the files in the folder (using the Windows XP search feature) I
am able to locate some of the files, but not all. The 'In Folder' location
for the file is listed as My Computer (obviously that's not where the files
are located). When I try to click on the file and open it, I get the
following message: file:///C:/temp/filename

The Specified path does not
exists.

Check the path and then try
again.

The missing folder is C:/temp. I have run a fill virus scan and my computer
is clean. Can anyone please help me???

I take it you wish to view it in IE yes?
More than likly the is hidden or does not belong to you. Not that it is not
your file, you just have not taken posession of it.
Step 1 Under windows Exp[lorer select Tools the Folder Options. tick show
hidden files and folders. Apply and OK.
Step 2
Right clcik on the file and take posession of it through properties sharing.
