Missing file

In my Windows XP, I'm now missing this file
c:\windows\system32\pwr32mgt.exe
the result of a Trojan virus cleanup (virus implanted in
that file, and my Norton Antivirus cleaned out both the
file and the virus). Now when I log on I get error
message saying either replace file or delete it from the
registery. Can't seem to find file to replace it. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

That file is part of the trojan, and you need to finish the cleanup steps.

if it is an xp file then boot to xp cd

and recovery console and copy it from the i386 on the cd
to the c windows system32 folder
