missing 'File','Edit','View',Favorites','Tools','Help'

I have a problem which has just happened today where the
above items have disappeared from my title bar in things
like my compter and while in directories and have no
standard toolbar have have no back functions etc.
hope someone can help as its really frustrating without it.
using win2000

hi
it just expands the windows, i have the blue bar and the
min,max and exit and F11 just makes the blue bar disapear.
i get the file, edit etc in all other programs except
windows based item like (recycle, my documents, my
computer etc)

What happens if you logon as a new user? (create a new account in 'Users and
Passwords')
