Missing email when moving it from one folder to another

I'm using Outlook 2002 with Exchange. The problem occurs when i'm moving an
email from a folder to another folder that I've created under the inbox. What
might be the cause and any solutions?
 
Have you checked other folders to see if the message(s) got dropped there
accidentally?
 
Just checked. There are two folders created under Inbox. The email was moved
to another folder but wasn't there.

the e-mail isn't moved to deleted items, sent item or outbox. there is no
junk filter in outlook too. I'm at wit's end.
 
If you do an Advanced Find (Tools menu > Instant Search > Advanced Find) can
you find the message anywhere in your message store?

anyway i just remove and reinstall the outlook 2002
so far no issue arise... thanks again
