Missing Diagalog Box

When I used to click on "Send/Receive" a diaglog box would open showing the
status of the messages being sent or received. Now this box doesn't open. I
don't know just what I did to cause it to stop opening, or how to get it to
return. I have looked in "view" and "tools" but at least so far I can't find
the right thing to change. Any help would be appreciated.

Choose "Show Progress" here: Tools menu > Send/Receive > Send/Receive

I failed to mention the version of Outlook which I am using, which is Outlook
2000. Maybe this is different than the one you are using, but when I open:
"Tools > Send/Receive" the only choices are: "All Accounts"; the three email
accounts that I have, and "Free/Busy Information" which is grayed out. There
is no "Show Progress" selection to click. And yes I clicked the double down
arrows to make sure there are no other hidden choices.

Any other thoughts?
