missing DATEDIFfunction - why???

Might someone be able to comment on why i cannot find the excel function
DATEDIF

also I am getting meassage that library or prject not found and the a
password request for funcres
 
I think the problem is I am tryin gto use with date time interval and trying
to gt a clean day number out of the process as posted on funtion page realted
to another problem.
