After deleting some apps getting msg. at startup says "missing component
MSINET.OCX missing or not correctly registered". REGSVR32 does not help.

yeh, sometimes when
you delete programs they don't
tell you that some of the files being
deleted are shared files used by
other programs.

have you tried a simple windows repair with
your windows setup cd?

have you tried a restore point to the date
before the deletion?

have you tried to simply reinstall that program?

Ben Thanks for your reply. Yes, a lesson learned. Restore point didn't work
(another Strange problem), couldn,t figure out how to do a repair, and
deleted too many programs to remember. But I got lucky at a site called
"Wilders Security Forms" after typing "msinet.ocx" into my browser. It
addresses the msinet.ocx problem with Spyblaster and gives an easy to follow
download and install procedure to install and register the msinet.ocx file.
And it worked. I almost feel like I know what I'm doing!
