Missing codec

I have Motorola Phone Tools, but ever since I updated my Windows Media Player
to version 11 I keep getting this message everytime I want to download or
install a ringtone in my phone: "unsupported format (mp3 codec maybe
inappropiate or missing)".
I contacted BVRP for support, all they can say is that the problem resides
in the last application I installed that apparently changed the codecs.

Thank You, Jerry for answering my post. I installed to applications... Windows Media Player update to version 11 and Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator version 6. Then everything changed. And I keep getting the message "unsupported format (mp3 codec maybe inappropiate or missing)".
