Hello,

A couple of ways. Install the Support Tools - located on both the WIN2000
Server CD as well as the WIN2000 Service Pack CD in the Support | Tools
folder - and then run 'netdiag /fix' from the command line or run 'net stop
netlogon', then 'ipconfig /flushdns' followed by 'ipconfig /registerdns' and
finally 'net start netlogon'.

HTH,

Cary

They are automatically created by the netlogon service, which grabs the data
from AD and registers that data into the zone in DNS.

Few things need to be set correctly for this to occur:
1. Zone name is not single label.
2. Zone name in DNS matches the AD DNS domain name and the Primary DNS
Suffix of the DC.
3. Updates set to at least 'allow' on the zone.

If any of these are off, then it won't work. As Kevin said, post an ipconfig
/all and state the AD DNS domain name and how the zone name is spelled in
DNS please and whether updates are set or not.
