Minimize Harddisk access unter XPe

When I use XP Pro and Xpe it accesses the harddisk periodically every 10
minutes even if i do nothing at the PC. Only desktop is running. I assume it
is for accessing the pagefile.sys virtual disk memory. Is there any way to
minimize harddisk accesses under Xpe? I mean that i can get the hardsik in
sleep mode and as long as i do nothing on the desktop or run an application
the system is not accessing the harddisk. If so, which components and
configuration do i need?

Run filemon from Mark Russinovich (www.sysinternals.com) to check which
file is actually touched each 10 minutes. Then you can make some changes
yourself or ask community for help (providing exact file names).
