Anyone come across this problem

If I have two Word 2003 documents minimised on my computer and then try to reopen the files they close down instead! No warnings or 'Do you want to save...' Just the fastest way to close my documents

To add to the problem my perfectly valid product ID code does not seem to be recognised by Microsoft - even though I bought 90 licences!

Word 2002 can crash without warning when two documents are open if you
have the handwriting recognition feature enabled. It tends to happen
if the windows are being minimized and restored; one user claims that
it always happens on the fifth restore. Maybe the defect is still
present in Word 2003?

you can remove Handwriting Recognition from Windows | Control Panel |
Regional and Language Settings | Language tab | Details, or via
Windows | Control Panel | Text Services. (The exact location may
depend on the OS.)
