mini dvd drive

Hi
My dvd drive (benq ls dw1655) refuses to play mini-DVDs from my camcorder.
It has the smaller mould in the tray, but i get a message that the drive is
not accessible/incorrect function when i try to play a mini-dvd (1.4gb) in it.
BenQ (netherlands) have been unable to give me any advice as to whether it
should or shouldn't play these discs.
Any ideas?

Try testing with the Windows XP TweakUI powertoy or Uwe Sieber's tool to
disable the
autoplay feature(s) on the CD/DVD drives, may be part of the problem..
