mini cd won't eject

I have a Sony Mavica digital camera which uses the 8 mm
mini cd's. I have used this camera and these cd's for 2
years. Today the cd writer in my Sony Vaio camera won't
eject the cd. Is there a way I can manually get the cd to
eject? I tried going to Windows Explorer > right click on
the CD drive > Eject and that didn't work. Tried the same
procedure using My Computer and the CD writer's
properties. What can I do?

Hi,

Your CD rom may be jamed mechnically.
There is a samll hole in front of the CD-rom panel
(usually under the CD tray). Try use a small paper clip,
expand the metal wire and insert in into the small hole
to release the lock on the CD tray.
