Min / Max and Close button missing

I have XP home edition and the min, max and close buttond are missing on the
opened window when on the internet mainly. You can see the screen behind it
in that area. The left corner is also missing. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

You may be running out of system resources. Windows has a system limit on
how many system GDI resources can be used. These are items like windows,
icons, buttons, etc. The limit is 10000 per application and 32000 total.

You can view GDI resources with Task Manager.

1) Select the Processes tab
2) View > Select Columns
3) Click the checkbox by GDI Objects
