Milo: Can I see picture icons in the note instead of the header?

In Outlook 2000, I saw attached pictures as little square icons at the bottom
of a note. In 2003, I'm seeing them in a list in the header instead.

Not a big deal cosmetically, but the other way, I could select them all at
once and say "Open" via a right click. That doesn't seem to work with them
in the heading.

Is it a question of getting them back in the bottom area or does '03 not
allow the opening of multiple attachments at once? - milo

I'm not sure what you mean by
"I saw attached pictures as little square icons at the bottom
of a note".
Outlook won't preview attached pictures if that is what you are after.

I mean that they now show up in the header next to the word "attachments".
Before in Outlook2000, if you sent me two word docs and a jpg, for instance,
I would see the note itself and below it would be a line. Under the line
would be three icons: two Word icons and an IE icon for viewing the jpg.

I could highlight all those icons and open them all at once. Can't seem to
do that with the words listed as attachments.

Might not seem that useful in this example, but if it's 20 pictures someone
sent me, it's sure nice to select and open them all at once from the icon
area (which sometimes had a scroll bar if there were enough of them) instead
of one at a time!

Thanks Bill (and anyone else). Would appreciate any guidance.

Thanks, but what I can already view a bunch of pictures in the software I have.
I just need a way to select a bunch of attachments at once and say "Open".
And sometimes they aren't pictures...it might be five word docs.

There must be a way to get them to show as icons again instead of in the
header...no?

Not that I'm aware of.
