Hello,
Is there a way to migrate a File server shared folder
permission? I have like thousand of Home folder in my file
server which is in NT4 domain still.
However I did a test.I joined the File server to the new
AD domain as a member server, I have to go on all the
folder permission and delete the old NT4 Groups ACL and
put the new groups on AD domain.

Is there way of doing it I mean migrating those
permission.I already migrated the NT4 accounts and I got
the SID and even password migrated to the new AD domain.

Please HElp!

Hello NEWTEST

This is not the answer of your question but, don't share home folders. share
a root folder with the home folders in.

Windows2000 and later can map to the root of share like
H: \\server\share\homedirs\%username%

well i did't know if you know this. then you not need so many shares. if you
still not planning to keep worksations on NT4.0
