Migrating to .Net

Hi All,

We have an application developed in Visual Basic for Load distribution and
scheduling of automation testing scripts for Regression Testing.

We have planned for migrating this tool to .Net using C# language. We need
to submit the feasibility study with advantage of migration.

Can anybody please tell me the advantages of Migration to .Net in general or
in align to above tool. Please provide me websites/documents which can help
me in understanding advantages of migration to .net.

Hi Kiran,

I would ask this question if I was you in the
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.csharp newsgroup.

In my opinion one advantages will be (the same for VB.net as for C#) that
you get a much larger toolkit which makes it you normaly (depends on what
you are doing) easier to make more sophistacated applications.
