Migrating Permisions

Hello,

we are migrating from winnt4 to win2k active directory, and right now we at
the point when we need to migrate people to active directory. The problem
is that the people have set up permissions on different types of folders,
DOMAINNT\user with whatever rights, there is thousands of folders, is there
a program or something that would replace permissions on the folders from
DOMAINNT\user to DOMAIN2K\users ?

Active Migration Migration Tool. You used to be able to

Read everything you can find before using it and run a
test migration to find any errors before you run the real
one. (it's a choice in the tool) It also gets alot more
complicated if you have an Exchange server but this will
also migrate exchange accounts. Be very carefull doing
that as NT 4 and Exchange 5.5 used seperate accounts as
where Win 2k AD and Exchnge 2k use the same accounts
because Exchange 2k is integrated into AD.
